Are you seeing high numbers of employees off sick with a musculoskeletal injury?
Does it take a long time for employees to return to work after an injury?
Are employees able to quickly access the right treatment to help them recovery?
Occupational Health Physiotherapy can help
Bespoke Wellbeing supports UK workplaces to reduce musculoskeletal injury and sickness absence with quality-driven, accessible, and cost-effective virtual and face-to-face physiotherapy services.
We work directly with organisations, occupational health providers, human resource teams and case managers to help employees recover quickly from their injury and return to work safely.
Our physiotherapists are experts in managing musculoskeletal disorders (MSD), that is injuries and conditions that affect the bones, joints, muscles and skeletal structures such as nerves.
Employers are responsible for managing the risk of MSD in the workplace, which includes appropriate treatment and rehabilitation. Bespoke Wellbeing can support you each step of the way from preventative measures to treatment and return to work.
Our physiotherapy for employees will:
- Assess symptoms and establish recovery timescales
- Provide evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation programmes using our app
- Educate and reassure employees on how to self-manage their symptoms
- Identify any work tasks or demands which may be contributing to the disorders
- Give advice on any modifications needed for their return to work programme.
Our team are also passionate about health promotion and preventative strategies when it comes to keeping your employees fit and healthy for work.
Benefits of Occupational Health Physiotherapy
There are many benefits of providing physiotherapy to your employees, both to the employee and the organisation.
For example:
- Earlier return to work after illness or injury
- Productive workforce
- Help individuals reach their full potential
- Higher morale
- Better employee relations
- Improved staff retention
- Compliance with legislation
- Improved occupational health and safety
- Improved corporate image
Cost savings
Occupational health physiotherapy has been shown to typically return between £3- £8 for every £1 invested by organisations. This is achieved by reducing injury and improving recovery time frames so that employees take less time away from work and are more productive. There are obvious sickness absence savings but also associated costs such a agency cover and recruitment costs if workforce retention is low.
Why do we offer virtual and face-to-face physiotherapy?
The traditional approach of only referring injuries for clinic based appointments are well and truely behind us. Virtual approaches have taken the health sector by storm since Covid-19 in 2020 with evidence to suggest that physiotherapy delivered by video consultation is just as effective as face-to-face services.
Many of our customers are reporting the same outcomes with the added benefits of being able to access our services even quicker, reach all employees regardless of location, and at cost effective rate compared to face to face options.
- 93% of our patients report virtual physiotherapy exceeded their expectations
- 83% find virtual physiotherapy is effective for their injury or health condition.
There is a small proportion of cases where virtual physiotherapy is viewed to not be suitable (approximately 20% of referrals) as sometimes we feel that a ‘’hands-on’’ assessment and treatment is required. If a face-to-face physical assessment or “hands on” treatment is required then a seamless referral into our national network of physiotherapy clinics can be made.
